Out Of State DUI Attorney

In Florida, out of state DUI occurs quite frequently. As a member of both the Non-Resident Violators Compact (NRVC) and the Driver’s License Compact (DLC), Florida shares DUI (driving under the influence) charges and arrest information with participating outside states. What this means is that a person charged with DUI can face a conviction and penalties according to the laws and rules of their home state. DUI penalties vary state by state but may result in up to 1 year or more in jail or prison, fines, driver’s license suspension, vehicle impoundment, DUI School, installation of interlock device, probation, parole and many other consequences if convicted.

Dedicated DUI Defense Lawyer in St. Lucie and Port St. Lucie

The NRVC and DLC view drivers as only having one license, no matter where they are. This can be extremely harmful for individuals charged and/or arrested in different states for DUI. If you or someone you love is charged with out of state DUI, please contact St. Lucie out-of-state DUI attorney David Golden today. Mr. Golden will aggressively fight the charges that you may face and will attempt to have them dismissed completely if possible. He understands that many times people are accused of DUI when in fact they were never intoxicated. Mr. Golden will investigate very thoroughly all charges that a client may face in the effort to challenge any blood/breath tests or field sobriety tests administered if he believes there may be an error.
